Last Updated: December 29, 2025

Robin Warner Neurology, PLLC (the "Practice," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to achieve these goals.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

We are committed to making our website, drrobinwarner.com (the "Site"), accessible and usable by people with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and we are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance where applicable.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly review and update our Site to improve accessibility and incorporate feedback from users. We recognize that accessibility is a journey, not a destination, and we are committed to continuous improvement.

Accessibility Features and Measures

We have implemented various accessibility features and measures on our Site, including but not limited to:

  • Semantic HTML: Use of proper HTML5 semantic elements (header, nav, main, footer, section) and ARIA attributes where appropriate to enhance screen reader compatibility
  • Keyboard Navigation: All site functionality is accessible via keyboard navigation without requiring a mouse, including the mobile menu toggle and all links
  • Skip Links: Skip-to-content links at the top of each page to allow users to bypass repetitive navigation
  • Alt Text: Descriptive alternative text provided for all images, including logos and decorative images
  • Color Contrast: Color combinations designed to meet WCAG contrast ratio requirements for text readability (primary text color #3E3F3F on white background)
  • Text Resizing: Content that can be resized using browser zoom functionality up to 200% without loss of functionality or horizontal scrolling
  • Focus Indicators: Visible focus indicators (blue outline with box-shadow) for all interactive elements including links, buttons, and form controls when navigating via keyboard
  • Heading Structure: Logical heading hierarchy (h1, h2, h3) to facilitate navigation and content understanding
  • Link Context: Descriptive link text that provides context about the destination, with aria-label attributes where additional context is needed
  • Table Structure: Proper table markup with scope attributes on table headers to associate headers with their data cells
  • Reduced Motion: Respect for user preferences for reduced motion through CSS media queries
  • Iframe Titles: Descriptive title attributes on embedded iframes (scheduling widget, review widget) for screen reader users

We continue to evaluate and enhance our Site's accessibility through internal testing, user feedback, and periodic accessibility audits.

Third-Party Content and Services

Our Site may include third-party content, tools, or services that are not under our direct control, including but not limited to:

  • Charm Health appointment scheduling and patient portal systems
  • Zocdoc review widgets and embedded content
  • Google Analytics and other analytics services
  • Other third-party integrations that may be added from time to time

While we strive to work with third-party providers who share our commitment to accessibility, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of all third-party content, tools, or services. We encourage third-party providers to maintain accessible interfaces, and we will work with them to address accessibility concerns when brought to our attention. However, the accessibility of third-party content is ultimately the responsibility of those third parties.

If you encounter accessibility barriers with third-party content on our Site, please contact us, and we will work to provide you with alternative means of access to the information or services you need.

Known Limitations and Areas for Improvement

Despite our efforts to ensure accessibility, there may be some limitations. We are aware of the following areas that may need improvement:

  • Third-party embedded content: Some third-party embedded content (Charm Health scheduling widget, Zocdoc review widget) may not fully conform to accessibility standards, as we do not control the accessibility of third-party services
  • PDF documents: The Master Consent and Notices PDF document may not be fully accessible to screen readers; we are working to provide accessible alternatives where possible
  • Ongoing content updates: As we add new content or features, we work to ensure they meet accessibility standards, but there may be brief periods during updates where accessibility may be temporarily affected
  • Color contrast for small text: Some smaller text elements (such as muted text) may have lower contrast ratios; we are reviewing and improving these where necessary

We are committed to addressing these limitations and improving accessibility over time. If you encounter specific accessibility barriers, please contact us so we can prioritize addressing them.

Feedback and Reporting Accessibility Issues

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our Site. If you encounter accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us. We are committed to responding to accessibility concerns in a timely and meaningful manner.

When reporting accessibility issues, please provide:

  • The URL or page where you encountered the issue
  • A description of the accessibility barrier you experienced
  • Your preferred method of contact for follow-up
  • Any assistive technology you were using (if applicable)
  • Your browser and operating system (if applicable)

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 5 business days and provide a substantive response within 10 business days, though response times may vary depending on the complexity of the issue. We will work with you to find a reasonable solution or alternative means of access. Please see the "Contact Us" section below for contact information.

Alternative Access Methods

If you are unable to access information or services on our Site due to accessibility barriers, we are committed to providing alternative means of access. Please contact us, and we will work with you to provide the information or services you need in an accessible format or through alternative means, such as:

  • Providing information over the phone
  • Providing information via email in an accessible format
  • Scheduling appointments via phone
  • Providing printed materials when available
  • Other reasonable accommodations as appropriate

We are committed to ensuring that individuals with disabilities have equal access to our services and information, whether through our website or alternative means.

Assistive Technology Compatibility

Our Site is designed to be compatible with commonly used assistive technologies, including:

  • Screen readers (such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack)
  • Screen magnification software
  • Voice recognition software
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Switch devices

We test our Site with various assistive technologies and browsers to ensure compatibility. However, assistive technology and browser combinations vary, and we cannot guarantee compatibility with every possible combination. If you experience compatibility issues, please contact us so we can work to address them.

Browser and Technology Requirements

Our Site is designed to work with modern, standards-compliant browsers and assistive technologies. For the best experience, we recommend using:

  • Recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge
  • JavaScript enabled (some features may require JavaScript)
  • Updated assistive technology software

While we strive to maintain backward compatibility where possible, older browsers or assistive technologies may not fully support all accessibility features. We recommend keeping your browser and assistive technology software updated to the latest versions.

Ongoing Accessibility Efforts

Accessibility is an ongoing priority for us. Our accessibility efforts include:

  • Regular review of website accessibility features and compliance with WCAG guidelines
  • Incorporating accessibility considerations into our website development and content creation processes
  • Monitoring and addressing user feedback on accessibility issues
  • Staying informed about accessibility standards and best practices
  • Working with third-party vendors when possible to improve the accessibility of their products and services
  • Testing with keyboard navigation and screen reader software to identify and fix accessibility barriers

We review and update this Accessibility Statement periodically to reflect our current accessibility practices and any changes to our Site.

Standards and Guidelines

We aim to conform to the following accessibility standards and guidelines:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)
  • WCAG 2.2 Level AA: Where applicable, we are working toward conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards
  • Section 508: Where applicable, we strive to meet Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act requirements
  • ADA: We aim to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as it applies to websites

While we strive for full conformance with these standards, achieving and maintaining 100% conformance across all content and features, especially with third-party content, may not always be immediately possible. We are committed to continuous improvement toward these goals.

Limitations and Disclaimers

While we are committed to accessibility, we acknowledge that:

  • Web accessibility is a complex and evolving field, and achieving perfect accessibility across all technologies, browsers, and assistive devices may not always be immediately feasible
  • Some content, particularly older content or content from third parties, may not yet meet current accessibility standards
  • Technical limitations, browser compatibility issues, or assistive technology variations may affect the accessibility experience for some users
  • As we add new content or features, there may be brief periods during development or updates where accessibility may be temporarily affected
  • We cannot control the accessibility of third-party content, tools, or services integrated into our Site

We are committed to addressing accessibility issues as they are identified and to continuous improvement. If you encounter accessibility barriers, we encourage you to contact us so we can work together to find solutions.

No Guarantee of Perfect Accessibility: While we strive for accessibility, we cannot guarantee that our Site will be accessible to all users at all times or that it will be compatible with all assistive technologies or browser combinations. We are committed to good faith efforts to improve accessibility and to working with users who encounter barriers to find reasonable solutions.

Good Faith Efforts and Continuous Improvement

We are committed to making good faith efforts to improve the accessibility of our Site. This includes:

  • Responding to accessibility feedback in a timely manner
  • Prioritizing accessibility in website updates and new content
  • Working with users to find reasonable accommodations and alternative access methods
